Frequently asked questions
Is ORBIT for Microsoft Teams or a standalone platform?
It works either way. Most organisations use ORBIT inside Teams, so training sits where employees already work. If you don’t use Teams, ORBIT works just as well as a standalone platform on the web.
Can ORBIT replace our current LMS?
For lots of organisations, yes. If you mainly use your LMS to deliver e-learning and track who’s completed it, ORBIT does that inside Teams, for one price, without the setup and admin of a full LMS. If you’re not sure whether it covers everything you need, get in touch and we’ll talk it through with you.
Do employees need another login?
No. If they’re signed in to Teams, they just open the ORBIT app and their training is there.
Can we use our own courses?
Yes. You can upload your existing SCORM content in a couple of clicks, choose from the 180+ courses in the FE Tech catalogue, or use a mix of both.
What can we see in the reports?
You can see progress, completions and scores for whole teams or for individual employees, so you always know who’s finished and who needs a nudge.
