Why we built ORBIT
We heard your frustrations
Learning platforms are meant to make training easier, but they often become one more thing to manage. They come with hundreds of features you’ll never use, another login for staff to forget, and a bill that grows with every new learner.
And for colleges and training providers using Microsoft Teams, there was no easy way to play SCORM content there, or to track who had completed it.
So we built ORBIT, a simple app that plays your e-learning in Microsoft Teams, with everything you need and nothing you don’t. Now your SCORM content is one click away in Teams, and every completion is tracked.

£9,500
a year (approx.)
That includes unlimited learners and support from the FE Tech team. Licences typically run for three years.

Frequently asked questions
Is ORBIT for Microsoft Teams or a standalone platform?
It works either way. Most organisations use ORBIT inside Teams, so training sits where staff and learners already work. If you don’t use Teams, ORBIT works just as well as a standalone platform on the web.
Can ORBIT replace Moodle?
For lots of organisations, yes. If you mainly use Moodle to deliver e-learning and track who’s completed it, ORBIT does that inside Teams, for one price, without the setup and admin of a full LMS. If you’re not sure whether it covers everything you need, get in touch and we’ll talk it through with you.
Do learners need another login?
No. If they’re signed in to Teams, they just open the ORBIT app and their courses are there.
Can we use our own courses?
Yes. You can upload your existing SCORM content in a couple of clicks, choose from the 180+ courses in the FE Tech catalogue, or use a mix of both.
What can we see in the reports?
You can see progress, completions and scores for whole groups or for individual learners, so you always know who’s finished and who needs a nudge.
